Of All the Pubs in Droylsden, The Gardeners is the one we frequented the most. Not
because it was anything special, but because it was local, it was our local. In the
early days it was a small friendly traditional pub, consisting of a vault, lounge
and snug. Ale by Wilsons, probably not the best beer in Manchester, but in my opinion
the bitter was passable.
