The traditional pub is dying! My tribute to the Pubs that have closed in Droylsden.
This is not meant to be a sentimental journey into the past. Not all Pubs were Palaces
of pleasure, much like the beer they served, there was the good and there was the
downright awful.
I left school in the 1960’s and was offered a job at Whitbread Brewery, Salford.
How could I refuse? The answer is I couldn’t, and so started my life long passion
for beer and Pubs.
